Oh my god, winter. Enough already.

Let's take a look at the past few days, shall we?

Friday: Snowy McSnowSnow. Thankfully the zoo closed at 2:00 and we were all allowed to leave with no time penalty. Got home about an hour after it started snowing.

Saturday: I work Saturdays. Woke up to a foot of snow on my car and shitty shitty roads. Was told I could come in at noon and work a half day. Spent roughly an hour cleaning off and shoveling out car. Drove to work on roads that were still in shitty condition at 11:30. WTF, road crews? That's the kind of thing I expect from East Bumblefuck, not a town 20 minutes outside Boston. Whatever. Got to work, shoveled out the three feet of snow that had blown in front of the building door. Worked. Drove home at 4:00, roads still in crap-ass condition.

Today: Got my ass out of bed and went grocery shopping at 8:30 before Storm, Part Deux arrived. Did inside stuff all day while roughly three inches of snow fell. Around 3:00, snow changed to rain. Around 5:30, temperature plummeted and rain changed to stinging, biting sleet of doom.

So right now there are three inches of snow on the ground, completely saturated with water, and it has dropped below freezing. Yeah. I just went out and shoveled my car AGAIN so I wouldn't be iced in tomorrow (snow saturated with water is HEAVY, y'all), but it is still sleeting. I fully expect my car to be frozen to the ground tomorrow.

Winter doesn't usually suck my ass this hard. What the hell?
